Life and Workforce Readiness

We want each and every one of our Club Kids to have a plan for life after high school that is achievable, exciting, and aligned with their goals. From the day they start Club to the day they leave, members complete programs, activities, and experiences focused on career awareness, exploration, and preparation.

Key Programs

Career Awareness

Through field trips and a variety of different activities, Club Kids are introduced to a broad array of career possibilities. For instance, we partner with The Thinkery to offer the CREATE program, which delivers hands-on STEM exercises that build efficacy and confidence. Every year members take a field trip to The Thinkery, and their families receive discounted annual passes.

Career Exploration

We offer Club Kids the opportunity to explore different careers through a variety of programs. Beable lets members research careers while improving their literacy with content tailored to meet their reading levels. Transfer VR gives teens the chance to try different careers through virtual reality simulations. The Building Industry Leaders program explores careers in commercial real estate with site visits and an engineering design project.

Career Preparation

Our Work Based Learning program allows teens to work at Club during the summer, earn a stipend, and build their resumes. We also work with Robert Walters Group, a global professional recruitment firm, to offer resume writing workshops and mock interviews.
