On Saturday, August 3rd, BGCAA came together with our friends at the Austin Spurs to host a Back to School Bash aimed at equipping all of our young people with the resources they need for a successful school year!

We handed out 700+ backpacks and school supplies, partnered with the Austin Black Physicians Association to provide more than 100 free physicals to middle and high-school youth, and provided myriad other resources to participants through our partners and friends at organizations like Keep Austin Beautiful, the Positive Coaching Alliance, The Kindness Campaign, Austin PBS, Central Texas Food Bank, Amy’s Ice Cream, Austin ISD and more!

We are honored to be able to bring all of these organizations together for the common purpose of helping our youth have the best possible start to this school year.
