Everybody who was ever anybody had a Somebody – a teacher, a mentor, a coach, a friend. Somebody who stood at a crucial crossroads and pointed the way. Could you be that Somebody?
How to volunteer
Volunteers play a vital role in transforming the lives of our Club members. Just a few hours a week can have a tremendous impact on a child’s life. Our Club offer opportunities for adults to work directly with youth as homework helpers and tutors, activities assistants, and offering college preparation support. We also welcome groups and organizations seeking one-day, project-based volunteer opportunities. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age to help within a Club. A minimum commitment of 2 hours per week for 12 weeks is required.
Before serving in a Club, Volunteers are asked to complete the following steps:
1. RSVP for and attend a Volunteer Orientation;
(See Volunteer Opportunity Calendar for dates & times)
2. Complete an Application by clicking here;
3. Contact the Volunteer team with any question at (512) 228-6780, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering! We look forward to working with your group on a special project or event for the Clubs. Here’s how you can help us.
To get started, complete the following steps:
1. Complete a Group Volunteer Application by clicking here;
2. Have a Planning Meeting with Volunteer Coordinator.
Groups are asked to contact us at least three (3) weeks in advance if they are interested in a special project. Because of Club schedules and facilities, we are not able to accommodate every group request to volunteer. For any questions, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at (512) 444-7199, or email@example.com.
